The finals of Unicorn CUP, the largest international startup competition, took place. Russia was represented by Arcona Metaverse, which won the regional stage of the competition.
This year, the Battle of the Unicorns took place online.
Thanks to this, we managed to introduce thousands of viewers and experts literally all over the world to the Arcona universe.
The final lasted three days. During this time, the participants of the competition virtually visited London - the capital of the European tour, Hong Kong, which met startups in Asia and, finally, in San Francisco.
Each region has assembled its own jury team, which included leading experts from the local IT industry and the venture capital market.
“It was a very tense and exciting session” says Daniil Gyrdya, Arcona co-founder. - Daily performances, a huge number of various questions, constant online communication. The most warmly accepted concept of our project in Asia, appreciating its uniqueness. The experts noted that among the AR / VR projects submitted to the competition, Arcona stands out for the scale and originality of technological solutions. Our platform is confidently becoming an alternative to ARKit and ARCore, and is designed for a wide range of non-professional users.
In general, it is nice to see how augmented reality is turning into a popular technology, capturing all new areas of business. This means that the creation of a single AR space - such as the Arcona Digital Lands - is a truly urgent task. The visionaries and ideologists of the new industrial revolution talk about this a lot, but few actually do it.
